The United Kingdom and six other nations are trying to intercept drug smuggling runs across the Atlantic into Europe from Latin America. The centre is jointly run by the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, the Irish Republic, France, the Netherlands and Italy. These countries are going to need all the help they can get.
